KHÔRA is a dynamic online arts space showcasing the work of polyphonic, multi-genre writers and artists. Each issue features six carefully curated pieces — artwork and writing selected for the way they speak across forms. Every issue is a conversation.

We don't believe in rejections. We believe in bringing multiple voices into the same room: writers and artists whose frameworks and traditions inform each other. Is it a short story or an essay? A play or a poem? Several things at once? We're open to all of them.

KHÔRA is a collaborative, curated magazine — one that stays open and keeps evolving. We invite you to be part of sustaining it.

About the name

KHÔRA was originally produced in collaboration with groundbreaking author Lidia Yuknavitch's Corporeal Writing and has since flourished as an independent magazine. Plato described khôra as a "formless interval, alike to a non-being." We remain committed to writers and artists who explore the creative by and through an ever-evolving and expansive lens.
